Is the final SDK going to come with the startup source for CL386? And/or is
the VC++/NT going to come with startup source?
I've had to come up with some ugly kludges because I can't modify the startup,
and I'd really like to clean them up!

No

The C Run-Time startup source is usually either included with the retail
compiler or available as an add-on. Please ask this question of the MSVCNT
support people once you receive the MSVCNT beta.
