Can anyone help me. I have a copy of SED.EXE, which taken from this forum.
Whenever I try and run it I get an error similar to "The instruction at
"0x000143a6" referenced memory at "0x20646580". The memory could not be read.
Does anyone know why?

Have you tried rebuilding the sources? The version that is available on CIS
was built for a version of the OS prior to the March release and this is
probably the reason that the program dies.
