Ahh…. OK. I just looked it up in the Win32s programmers reference, and it
does say that paging has to be enabled under Win 3.1.
The message you receive under these circumstances (trying to run win32 when
paging is not enabled) is somewhat misleading. It indicates that the problem
lies with the Win32s installation. It does not indicate that the problem
results from having paging disabled.

The Win32s 1.1 install program is much better at detecting common install
programs like this, and reporting it in a friendly manner – we really do
