#What to choose?
2 messages in this thread
I have posted this message in TRUEVISIONS Forum but they havn't answered in
a couple of days, soo I'll try here. Maybe some of you know more about this
then I do!?

I have bean using a Targa+ board for some time now with 3D Studio and TIPS.
I have also an Diaquest 422+ with Action animator and QuickPass option.
I was just wondering what the next quality step would be? I live in
"PAL-land" so check that your not refering to NTSC specific features!
AT Vista ?
TrueVista . Pro ?
I have heard about ATVista and that there are a couple of possible
paintprograms for it, but I havn't heard about TrueVista before last week!
What is the difference between them? Does programs that support ATVista
atomatically support TrueVista? If not wich program does support ATVista?
I need to :
– Get my field rendered frames out to PAL with my Diaquestboard and the
framebuffer. As I have bought QuickPass, I want it to be compatible with
it!
– Digitize the same way as above!
– Use the framebuffer as a "Paintbox" for signs and alike for NEWS-like
broadquast painting. Need key-signal out from frambufferboard!

I'd vote for the AT-Vista for your applications. It will run at up to 1008×486
NTSC recordable (we use that regularly) and the equivalent in PAL.
It has a separate alpha out.
This plus Inscriber for titling, Hi-Res QFX and/or TIPS for painting is a
killer combination, BTW.
They have an excellent ADI driver, and, if you look, is one of the few boards
supported directly by internal drivers in 3D Studio. (VISTAH and VISTAL)
