I don't think anyone up here knows enough about the technology to comment. The
video company want to upgrade from their U-Matic suite. I think the messages
they are getting from the TV engineers are along the lines that they will need
to go onto Betacam for an online edit as the non-linear output will not be
accepted. If they have to purchase a Betacam suite then there is no way they
will also get a non-linear system, which messes up my plans.
At the moment they record and edit on U-Matic then copy onto Betacam for
broadcast. No one seems to mind.

From the main forum menu, you should be able to choose something like "Set User
Options". From there, you should be able to find an option for setting your
name within the forum. I think some forums restrict this option to keep people
from using aliases, so you may have to ask the sysop to change it.
