ADI-Driver needed

Just a few weeks ago I purchased a Mitsubishi HSE82 PC-VCR, a VCR with an RS232 interface. After several hours of testing i discoverd, that this deck is frame accurate with its special timecode, the GSE RAPID-timecode. Unfortunately it doesn't offer color framing – not very surprising, the deck costs only about $1,800. But for my personal previews it'd be ok, for final renderings I can rent a deck. So now I'm looking for a) an ADI-Driver, that supports the Mitsubishi HSE82 PC-VCR or b) a sort of ADI-Driver-Backbone. I'm experienced in programming in Turbo Pascal, so i'd write a driver – I think. But I don't know how anything about programming ADI-drivers. Thus I'm looking for a documentation about ADI-Drivers and it'd be very helpfull if I'd get a sample ADI-driver (source) so I just have do to "some" (i know: never say some…-) changes to have this driver working with my VCR. Soeren Gerlach P.S.: The Interfaces in the VCR is a general interface used in several VCRs, so ADI-Drivers for ohter VCRs but the same interfaces should also work well.
