PS on LJ4, slooow? —
declared parent_msg_num=(none),
resolved parent_id points to #(unresolved)
I am having trouble sending 1+ meg PS (and EPS) files to an HP LJ4. The LJ4
has 14megs and the Postscript option. We are running Netware 3.11, 10BaseT
ethernet, and the LJ4 has the Jetdirect card. Everything is normally
warp-speed, except the PS files. I understand that the LJ4 is doing the
interpreting, but 14megs onboard shouldn't choke on a measly 1.7meg PS file.
Anything I send above approx .8meg just hangs, never does print out.
A cure, a patch, a workaround? Help me out, fellow Acad gurus.
