Regarding my purchase of video toaster 3.0 on Amiga 4000. I wish to produce training films on a somewhat limited startup budget. I am considering using SVHS, Panasonic 1970's, AG555's and AMILink. I don't know a lot about time code, but I understand that if I use this configuration I might loose frames and not be able to lip sync. Is this correct? Would JVC BR-S605UB be a better system because it supports linear time code and true frame accuracy? Also, is HI8 a better medium all around… am considering the Sony EVO-9700 system. Also would the Sunrize soundboard correct lip sync problems? I have been told that it would & would not work with the 1970's. One more …. Am I better off to put money into the Amiga 4000 or 2000. Any advice… greatly appreciated.
