Dear friends, I would like to buy the MGA Impressions card MGA-IMP/3Z/A/H with 1600×1280 option and cables. Because there are no Matrox dealers in my country (Czech Republic), I need to buy this card directly from U.S. So I'm asking if there are some MATROX dealers. If so, please send-me e-mail with the price of this card and of the MATROX SXCI graphic library and with the company name and telefax number. I'll place the order by fax. I'll pay in advance, against pro-forma invoice.

Pavel – I'm not a dealer, but I'm an owner of a VL-Bus MGA Impression. Why not buy it from Canada, its country of origin, rather than from the U.S.? They're based in Montreal, and their phone number is 514-685-2630. Dave

Well, probably they won't let you to buy in the US or in Canada. Some companies don't allow their products to be exported out of the US (I hope that you will find a dealer here in CIS) Good luck! ana /krazy images

PMJI, but there is one issue here that you may need to consider, technology export restrictions! I once had to supply a Targa+ card for a client that was moving back to Pakistan, and the restrictions were mind-boggling. Until, that is, I found a company called TECH EXPORT that deals with these issues specifically. I don't know if the MGA would fall in this catagory, but it's worth a check! Unfortunately, I do my Compuserve work at home, and do not have their number handy. Has anyone else here dealt with TECH EXPORT? Please supply Pavel with their number. If no one responds, I will be back up tomorrow night.

There is no problem with COCOM and similar restrictions for Czech Republic in the present time. We are ordering some high-end LAN products like FDDI directly from U.S. without problem. Thx PavelK

I think (but probably I'm wrong) that Techex only distribute Truevision, no Matrox. They have central offices in Germany, with offices arround Europe. They distribution net includes Spain, but I'm not sure about Pavel's country. Great help, uhn? <g>
