#order info, please!

Ok Dave,
Of course you can order from Impulse directly, the price for Imagine
3.0 for the PC is $695.00. Ouch. We take Visa an Mastercard, to get your
order placed sen us a fax with your address and your Credit card number, with
Expiration date. But before you do, please call Alex of Amiga Oberland and
tell him I said to call him and that he should give you a good deal.
If he does not do you proper. then we may be able to find a different
way in which to get you the software, possibly if you have some of the graphics
product you could now upgrade to PC Imagine 2.0 for $200.00 and then place your
order for Imagine 3.0 at the upgrade price of $100.00 this would save you a few
DM.
This competetive upgrade is presently working for others who want the
software and not the high price. The only real problem with this method is
that there is only an Amiga manual at this time, although that should not be a
real problem because the software is the same on both computers, minor changes
for the mouse and display cards but otherwise the same.
Let me know what you would like to do.
Mike
I just called Amiga Oberland. He couldn't give me any specific price
for Imagine 3.0. He estimated 600-800 DM (which is $360-$480). The
price you told me ($695) would be 1140 DM! This would be the very
first time that a program that comes from the States is more
expensive in the US than in Germany. Can you believe that?
BUT, the man on the phone made an offer to me. He said that when I buy
1.1 now including the update to 2.0 (PC-version) and later when
available update to 3.0 I will pay less than buying only version 3.0.
He garanteed that and I made the deal. So I will have 2.0 on monday
(with two german books, which he said are much better than the
english ones) and wait for 3.0 to arrive in Germany soon.
I hope I did the right thing, but I'm still in doubt… PS: Be
prepared for thousands of messages in this forum here as soon as 3.0
is out 🙂 🙂
Hope you enjoy Imagine David. Look in Amiga arts for MANY MANY nice
3D Models for use in Imagine. It's always helpful to look at others
work to get ideas for your own
Peter,
I'm "upgarding" from a $100 animation program. 🙂 It wasn't that bad, but
both the included objekts and the modeler are poor.
May I bother you with my questions learning Imagine? <g>

David.
I am sure you did the right thing, and if for any reason the
distributor does not perform as promised, please feel free to call upon me for
help in these matters. I look forward to hear what you think of Imagine and
stand ready to help in any way that I or Impulse can.
Happy rendering
Mike
