Please help…. i just buy a seagate hard disk 2.5 for my amiga 1200 but no way to the diskette installation for the hard disks . This a 60 Mo hard disk to be installed on the internal ide interface. Why commodore do not provide it when we buy a 1200 Thierry Swaenepoel France

Thierry- They should. There was a thread last week or so on this same subject. It seems as if your name is familiar. It also seems that they sell the installation as a separate kit. The TENEX catalogue has an installation kit listed. Someone on your side of the pond should have information on how to obtain the kit. Thierry: Download our RDPrep program from our library here and use it to create a RigidDiskblock on your IDE drive. Works fine. You don't need any cbm software or "kits". Just the driver built into your rom; our RDPrep; and AmigaDOS. You have to change the RDPRep tooltype to scsi.device and read the doc. RDPrep is our commercial software but it's FREE to you even if you don't own any of our MicroBotics products. Regards, –Redmond
