You don't have enough memory.
You know you don't.
Wouldn't you like to add 8 megs of cache to your hard drive? That
would really speed up those file loads…and Lightwave could sure use
the extra overhead…not to mention shadowing your entire workbench
partition to ram for that 10% speed boost…
In any case, you need to buy my 8-meg RAM board (with a neato-keen
builtin SCSI controller) for the extremely modest price of $200. This
is a GVP board and has been tested in A2000 and A3000s with no
operational difficulties…
Truth in advertising: this is 24-bit RAM. An A3000 can certainly use
it, but you'll be better off configuring all eight megs as a RAD:
disk or you will see a performance hit when your system starts using
it.
Post a note if you want it. Offers considered. Trades for neat
hardware or software DEFINITELY considered. I now have an A1200 or I
would never give up my precious RAM.
Buy my RAM…you are getting sleepy…very sleepy…this ad makes a lot of
sense…take out your checkbook…

All I know is when I run sysinfo it tells me that the memory is 24-bit DMA.
Further deponent knoweth not.

Nope, it's not the MBX1200z and I already sold my separate clock. It does
have a 16Mhz 68881.

looking at a MBX1200 for the machine (no idea of the price, though).

(I, on the other hand, am in the market for an 40/50 MHz M1230XA!)

Get the 50 (that's what I have) if you can afford it, it has the MMU
to run all thoses neat things like gigamem, enforcer, Apple emulation
products, and any possible OS virtual mem that might come along
