As the resident "hardware expert", maybe you can answer my question. Do I
need a special chip puller for the Agnus, or can I go down to Radio Shack
and buy a tool that will work? If so, what would it be? Grapevine
advertises a PLCC chip puller. Is that a standardized tool? Thanks.

Hey, I'm a software guy.
There are different sorts of chip pullers. I think PLCC is about the
right acronym for the kind of packaging Agnus has, and there is a standard
tool for pulling such a package. Radio shack might sell one.
I usually use such a tool, but have used a screwdriver very carefully on a
couple of occations where the socket was so tight that the tool slipped.
