Maybe I am just confused but I have tried the windows mcisendstring commands with messages that Autodesk says they support under windows and get nothing. an example "play aliasname from 1 to 10 notify" does nothing at all and if I say wait it does nothing either. I am confused this seems to work with all other MCI stuff includeing WAV except for Autodesk. I am trying to incorporate this into a presentation package that I am writting and am haveing no luck. The only command I have been able to use with any sucess is mcisendstring("play aliasname wait"); that is it. it play al the way through and disappears not to cool. Help me out here maybe I am syntactically incorect etc but this stuff like I said works for avi wav mid etc with no hooks. Thanks in advance Bob.
