#flic to gif

Thanks again for the recommendation for dta. I got it, and it
looks like it will work perfectly, except when I run it, it gives me
an immediate memory error, even though I have tons of memory
available to it, both lower and upper.
I can't figure it out.
But thanks again anyway,
Bill
Bill,
Oops. Is the upper memory configured as XMS, EMS, or what? –dkm
Looks like the problem with DTA doesn't really have anything to do
with the amount of memory available… I had tested the flic-to-gif
conversion only with .FLI and .FLC files generated with DTA, not with
any ANIPRO FLC files. I just downloaded one from this forum and gave
it a try and DTA gave me a protection fault error.
I'll do some debugging. –dkm
I left a message for you in the GRAFDEV forum asking for help in DTA tga to tga
scaling. I downloaded the latest version, and am no longer having problems. I
think, as a matter of fact, that my syntax in the earlier batch file was wrong.
Thanks for a great program, checks in the mail…

What kind of memory do you have available to it? If you have DTA.EXE
1.0, you can only use real mode (640k). If you installed dtax.exe
you can use EXTENDED memory (himem, qemm).
