Actually I am creating it for use in a 3D maze which means the
building will be seen both up close and at-a-distance. So I guess the
geometry approach is the best. Thanks for the info.
It is important when working efficiently with 3DS to keep geometry to
a minimum. Often two seperate models will be necessary, one with no
detail for long shots and one with detail for close-ups. Use Video
Post to fade from one to the other as you move in. the technique is
used in television/film all the time to get inside a building. Good
