You know that the VMX board helps only with products like TIPS, inscriber,
and the like? Not 3DS or Hi-Res QFX? Just making sure…
Yep. My cohort upgraded to a newer version of Painter(?) on his
Pinacle (sp?) machine, and it wants more memory. Rather insistent
about it as a matter of fact. He has a 2 meg card, and it looks like
it could be upgraded by adding memory to it, but it's a solder job.
I've wiped out too many PCBs to touch that one..

So you want to add the VMX instead of on-board memory? The memory is very
different, with different uses, just make sure you are getting the proper
kind for the program you need!
