ALL I have recently written a public screen program which I find to be very useful, but I don't have a good feel for the amount of interest there would be in it. What I would like to do is give a brief description of the program, and receive some feedback from you. I call the program SCREEN. Basically it is a dos command with arguments to set up the type of screen you want. The last argument is a command string which is a list of one or more dos commands. When SCREEN is launched it creates the screen you have specified, then makes itself the default public screen, and then proceeds to execute the command string. The command string contains the dos commands and the application programs that would open windows on the screen. You can also give the screen a name so programs that require a name can also open on the screen. If more than one SCREEN has been launched and you rotate the screens then the one in front is automatically the default public screen. If WorkBench or a private screen is in front than WorkBench is default. SCREEN can also be configured to automatically exit once the last visitor window has gone away. The reason I would like to know the amount of interest is because docs are difficult for me to write. Writing the program itself is easier! Thankyou and please reply if you have any comments. Ed
