I have an A500 with 2 SCSI drives and 1 meg of memory with 1,3 Kickstart, the problem is (and isn't there always one..) that I had a power failure a couple of days ago and my DH1: (second SCSI) is now invalidated, now dos does not validate the DH!, validates DH0 thoug, and Fixdisk can't handle >40meg so i am a bit stuffed (DH1 is 80 Meg), any ideas how I can validate it ? remember only 1 meg of memory and 1.3 kick Cheers Robert… (A)bort (R)etry (S)mack the friggin thing

Quarterback Tools Deluxe, version 2.0, says it works with AmigaDos 1.3. I just started it and so far its been using 630K of memory while checking my 85M partition. Its not PD or shareware so you'd have to go buy it somewhere. Also if you do go shoping for it be sure you get the new version which is 2.0 and it now has "Deluxe" as part of the name. The previous version was not highly recommended.

Thanx for the suggestion, but there HAS to be a cheaper way – I think I'll borrow a few megs from a friend and run AmiTools which he has… Thanks for the help… Rob… the man with da taglines…. | <——– Put comments in this box.
