I'm trying to use the aawin dll with Borland C++, but can't find a suitable header or lib. Please advise me as to what I need to use. Thanks, –Michael Wells

Hi Michael – What you're looking for appears to be VBPLAY.TXT in the IPAS/POCO/AAWIN library section.

Christal, VBPLAY.TXT is (obviously 🙂 not usable in its direct form in a normal C/C++ compiler (does Microsoft support this form in C as well as VB???)… Do I need to change the function declarations and remove global from the constants, and change the comment signifier, or is there an existing pure-C header that I can download? Thanks, –Michael Wells B.T.W. I'm using Borland C++, in case you have anything specific for that flavor… thanks again!

Hi Michael, It's not really my area of knowledge, but I believe if you buy the Windows Animation Support libs for $25 you'll get all sorts of things to help you out including header files. You can buy it directly from Autodesk by calling 1-800-879-4233. I hope this helps, Grant Blaha – Autodesk Multimedia Technologies
