I have been lead to believe that someone from Autodesk support would respond within 24 hours to problems posted here. I posted three problems here about 32 hours ago, addressed to "all". Am I likely to get a response from Autodesk, or am I doing it wrong?

Stephen – I'll make sure someone replies in the next hour or so. I'm afraid we're a bit short on technicians this week due to responsibilities at a computer show in D.C.

Stephen, It appears that you have been given some misinformation. The 24 hour return policy refers to: If you have a product for which Autodesk provides direct telephone support, such as Multimedia Explorer, and you call the Product Support telephone number included with your software, and a technician can not speak with you at that time, you will recieve a call back within 24 hours, not including weekends and holidays. On Compuserve there are people, including Product Support technicians, programers, dealers, and end users, who volunteer their time, and often their CIS connection fees, to answering questions and discussing techniques and issues related to the Multimedia products. On some days there are people up here constantly, and you can get an answer to a question posted literally within a few minutes. On others days, due to program releases, computer shows, dealer meetings, end user deadlines, and the like, answers to questions are not posted that quickly. I hope this clears up any confusion. As far as your technical problem, I have posted a response in a seperate message. You may get a better or more specific response, however, from some user who has a graphite board installed a system that is similar to yours (which is the point of Compuserve). -Brian Rudolph Autodesk Product Support
