What is the copyright status of the tape? Has it been released for public
domain? Any limitations? May it be used to show off 3DS to prospective
clients for both sales of 3DS (I'm sure) as well as for enticing the animation
client?
PS: I'm now selling 3DS, doing training, support etc. for a local Adesk dealer.

The tape is copyrighted by Autodesk, but you may show it to anyone you want!

Where can someone get a copy of the tape?
If you send me a self-addressed, post-paid package containing a blank VHS or
SVHS tape, I'll be glad to run off a dub for you, and get it back ASAP. Let me
know if you are interested and I'll Email you my address…

know about it, Give Laura Kawazoe a call (415.491.8889) and she'll fix ya up
with some UG goodies — demo tapes among them!

Does that mean I can dub a copy of the tape with Autodesk's permission? I've
noticed a number of forum members are offering to do this for $, however small.
I don't plan on selling copies, but just wanted permission to dub it for the
purpose of showing what the package will do for prospective clients.
Being in the video business I have respect for other's work and would get
permission for this purpose.
