Help!!! I keep getting an EXP Mesh Op Failure — no object ready error, when rendering a frame of an animation The scene have two emitter cubes and Flame running on them both. I look in the Disk 6 book and it gives no error messages for Flame or Vapor. I need some help with this one folks. Thanks in advance . Rick

Are you sure that Flame.axp is applied to the cube, and that it's turned on ? After checking that, go into the Flame dialog and exit with OK. You're not trying to morph the axp cube other than by using the pointer scheme are you ? BILL

No morphs I have resaved the secondary motion data after every change to the cubes, the render get the error message about where the flames should be rageing I see the render building the object and the normals then POOF error message. I hope there is a solution not that I can't change things but it is the first time I have tryed to use flame in an animation and I would like to see how it looks.

Have you checked to make sure there's plenty of free disk space for temporary files on the 3DS install partition and the swap file partition (if different) ?

Yes I checked out every thing and then I just reworked the animation and every thing seems to be fine I just wan't to know what causes that condition to happen in the first place.
