I have a Pentium 66 with 64MB of RAM. My current, highly optimized project contains about 124,000 faces and several MB of texture maps. When rendering to at 752 x 480, it takes about 55MB or RAM. So, what is the highest resolution I can render this project at? Also, what is the highest resolution I can render at period? (Note: assume that I am rendering to a null-display; this is all for print.) Thanks, Darren

You can render up to 3D Studio's maximum 4000 x 4000, you'll just need to have a lot of hard drive space for what will probably be a huge swap file while 3DS is working, and some time on your hands…

>>Also, what is the highest resolution I can render at period?<< I don't know but 3D Studio has a limit in the settings at 9999×9999. The manual say 4096×4096, but I have made a rendering at 1500×7500. That was a poster 0.5m X 2.5m. -M.E
