For your benefit, we have highlighted the following key points of the release:
– This release was developed to announce the formation of Autodesk's Component
Technology Business Division, which expands the role of Ithaca Software
creating an OEM channel to support the licensing of additional component
technologies, as identified by Autodesk.
– Ithaca Software, will now proactively license and support Autodesk's own
shareable component technology to OEM software developers in all industries,
worldwide.
– This move is consistent with Autodesk's commitment to deliver productivity
tools to software developers building next generation applications.
– As a first step for the CTBD, Autodesk is adding the Cyberspace Developer Kit
(CDK) to Ithaca's OEM business. The CTBD will continue to report to Autodesk's
Emerging Businesses Division and function as an independent division of
Autodesk.
