Will the AmigaGuide utility work on a 500 with operating system 1.3, one Meg of RAM, and no harddisk? 2) Besides upgrading to 2.0 or higher, is the utility and its library available on CIS? Some references on CIS formus have stated that the AmigaGuide utility and the AmigaGuide library are both available on BBS's. I have looked in the places I can think of in the Amiga forum but can only turn up examples, modifying programs, etc. -NOT the utility itself. Carl – via Whap!

Carl, Amigaguide is available in the Amigauser forum on CIS. I'm not sure which library it's in but it's there somewhere. The compressed file contains pretty much all you need to run it, I think and I think it works under 1.3 (tsk! should've upgraded by now) Hope this is some help…. The AmigaGuide system software can be found in AmigaUser LIB 14 (System Updates). It will be file 'AMIGAG.LHA'. This contains version 34.xx of the files, for the earlier Amigas, as well as some tools for v39 (AmigaDOS 3.x version?). Ron. — (Stealing from one, is Plagiarism. Stealing from many, is research.)
