I also have the Box150 external. Here is how I use it on my system.
This is using a Zeus 68040/33mhz w/SCSI-II controller. The Zeus also has a
"Removeable" icon which is in my WBSTartup drawer.
I boot with the drive empty but on. In this fashion I am able to insert
Bernoulli's and they appear on the workbench and act just like a Floppy. ie.
they disappear when removed and appear when inserted.
If, however, I boot with a cartridge installed. The icon for that cartridge
will never go away when I remove it. I therefore always boot with it empty.
It seems that the particular controller and software ( Removables in the
startup drawer in my case) controls how this is handled.
