As I look at it, once you reach the power considerations for the monitor (ie. going from the 220v/50hertz to 110v/60hertz), you should be able to run the Amiga with the Amiga monitor you have been using across the ocean. (I would definitely check with a real electrician on this, though). Whether or not you could get (or even want to get!) the American television stations (as I think your last note on the board seemed to indicate) might be another matter entirely, as I am uncertain as to what your "English" tuner is set up for, as opposed to our "American" tuner. (Come to think of it, it's __ALL__ Japanese). Again, my info is a little outdated- you have to realize I haven't touched this since reading bbs messages at 300 baud on my Commodore 64 about this subject, nor read about it since AHOY and C.Gazette and RUN! magazine back in the early 80's. (A long, far cry from my current setup, certainly). As long as you will be coming over, is there any possibility seeing if you can get a Commodore 64 video chip? 🙂 Mine burnt out, after 10 years of service… Coming from the lands of Yankee Doodle, -Steve
