Hi John; Well I downloaded the Echo EE100 files and tried them out. HELP!! Recap: Running MM300. The IR trainer will record signals just fine. It Will not Send anything out. I have tried two types of CD players and now Three types of VCR's. The trainer records everything just fine. It just won't Transmitt to the IR systems that I have. The LANC controller works like a champ. Conclusion: After downloading the new files and running them, I have the same results. I also removed the Red Filter per your suggestion, still no luck. Comments: I downloaded the Beta 5 version of Echo 100 and gave it a try. No luck here eigther. The both programs seam to be trying to transmitt the IR command because the programs take control of the mouse pointer during the transmitt cycle. I think I am correct when I assumed that the new IR EX file I just downloaded was intended to work with the ECHO100 program I received with the system. Anyway, I am just trying to get it to Transmit and I need some ideas. So with that, I leave this mystery to you and hope my next move will result in a 100% operational system. Russ, Please identify any and all programs that you are running in your startup-sequence, user-startup and WBStartup. -mark= Otto Pilot Engaged..

I don't have any problems with the startup-sequence, user-startup or WBStartup. Do you think that might be the root of my problems?

It is not a question of problems with these things.. but rather a question if a PD utility is messing with the EE stuff.. Let me see your startup-sequence, your user-startup and list what is in your WBStartup drawer.

Umm, I think there is one more patch I need to download from the developers. I'll upload it here and see if that will work for you. Where did you get the Beta EE100? Hope you read the "ReadMe" files. There are quiet a number of changes to the tooltypes that you should be aware of.

John, I'll keep an eye out fot that patch. As for the Beta EE100 (EE100 IR Trainer Beta 5), it was in the file I downloaded from here. I will take another look at the ReadMe Files too. Regards, Russ Waters Alexandria, Va.

Russ, Regarding Beta 5 version of the Trainer, duh. I completely forgot that was in the archive. I have privately attached the InfraRed EX ver. 2.5 to you. It has also been updated in the library archive under "NewEcho.lha". Hope this works. Regards, John Chang Technical Support Manager Scala, Inc.
