I have run it as long as I have had 3DS R3 and it works fine!! The only thing is that you have to have a computer that is a "Server", alway in window mode. There is where you have the shared library and saves the TGA files. The thing is that you can only access a computer that is in windows, not access a computer that is in DOS. -M.E

Martin, Try typing in "Net Start Workstation" from the DOS prompt. You will then have access to disk drives and printers that have been connected to and shared under Windows, without being in Windows. Hope this increases your options. TR

>>"Net Start Workstation" from the DOS prompt. << Yes this gives me access to all other computers that is currently running windows, not those that are running dos. Other computers cannot access my disk as I'm in DOS. The conclusion is that the only communication that works is Windows<->Windows and Dos->Windows. Windows->Dos and Dos<->Dos doesn't work. If I'm wrong please tell me how to do Dos<->Dos communication, I have tried it for some time !!!! -M.E

Windows for Workgroups only provides "server" services while in Windows. The DOS drivers are client only. Your main server has to be a machine running Windows exclusively.
