I have access to a laptop, an IBM PS/Note 425C. It has an 80486 SL processor, 4 MB of RAM, and a CT-65530 video controller with 512 Kb of memory. From my understanding it does not have a math co-processor. It can have 4/8/16 MB of RAM. 3DSr3 will not run on this system. 1. Does anyone know what, if any, modifications can be made so that it will run? What graphics capabilities do I/would I have (resolution, # of colors…)? 2. Could someone give me a suggestion for a bare bones laptop (inc. price) that will run 3DSr3? I would mainly be doing modeling and keyframing with it, only minimal rendering. 3. Can I [ahem] remove my hardware lock from my other system after it begins rendering so as to actually get use out of both systems at once at different sites? If not, is it another 3k??? Thanks, Paul *** Coca-Cola is the Nectar of the Gods ***

I also am not familiar with that display chip, is is a VGA chip? 3DS requires minimum 640x480x256 color VGA. <<3. You can render (only) on as many machines as you want simultaneously. -B
