FlicLib Code?

Is there some file which outlines the various development kits available from AutoDesk? I'm in the process of writing a fli/flc player, which I'll probably need to code most in assembly anyway for optimal speed, but I remember working in the past with a set of routines collectively called "fliclib" or somethign like that – I seem to remeber the routines being mid-to-high level, but it could still be useful. If someone has info on PD source code for flic players (other than the stuff from Kent's DDJ article) or other sources of information, that'd be great. Thanks tblom@zilker.net [A [D.

Our official info is called "Animation Support Libraries". See the VBPlay.VBC & VC++ Subject heading for help.

Download FLCSPC.ZIP and FLILIB.ZIP from the library. You most likely also want the Animation Support Libraries V. 2.0. it contains… <<,As far as what ASL is: Several photocopied and bound books: Animation Support Libraries 2.0 "Microsoft Visual Basica Reference for Autodesk Animation Player for Windows", "C Reference for Player for Windows" "C Programmer's Reference Manual" "Poco Executable (POE) Reference" "User's Guide for Player for Windows" "File Formats and Fliclib Reference". I "abridged" some of the titles. And also, 2 diskettes: ASL V0B 5DVLP1.DID AAPLAY.DLL AASETUP.EXE AAVGA.DLL ASL1.MID INSTALL.DAT INSTALL.EX$ INSTALL.EXE INSTALL.INS INST_EN.XMX MCIAAP.DRV OEMSETUP.INF README.DOC AAWIN ANIM APW SAMPLE TOOLBOOK 5DVLP2.DID >>>

I've found several docs with the specs. But I can't find the FLILIB.ZIP you reference. What does this contain? I tried downloading that filename from the lib section & it couldn't find the file. I also search lib 10 for "FLI" and didn't find it. Thanks -thomas
