Hiya all, I just got back from the East Coast late last night. What a Siggraph…! As you can imagine, it's going to take me awhile to get back into gear. I've got about 300 pieces of email waiting for me after my almost-2-week absence. I'm going to try to catch up over the next few days so that by Monday I'm back up to speed. Please have patience with me… I feel like I walked into an avalanche. I'm setting it up to send out NTSC VHS Siggraph reels to anyone from the ASOFT forum who wants one and wasn't in Orlando last week. All you've got to do is figure out how much first class postage to put on a SASE that'll hold a VHS tape, and then send that SASE to me at: Yost Group, 3739 Balboa St., #230, SF CA 94121. I've got a limited supply, so move quickly on this if you're interested. (and please, if you've already got a tape, don't ask me for a second one) I think the postage is going to be about $3.00, but I'd appreciate it if one of you with a postage meter would weigh a VHS tape and envelope and let us all know exactly how much $$ Uncle Sam wants for this thing. Hey, I'm so proud of this demo reel that it's the least I can do! Catch you later and Hasta la, – G

/* Hey, I'm so proud of this demo reel that it's the least I can do! Catch you later and Hasta la, */ Gary, can I have you folks send one/two out to me for NAAUG or should I contact Kathy Clinton to get one? (not sure if she has any) -dave

For NAAUG, if you want multiple copies, you ought to go thru KathyC for them. – G

Since I also live in San Francisco, what is the possibility of me just coming by your place and picking up a tape? JW

The offer is only available via US Snail. – G

I put a 3DS demo tape in a small-size bubble-pack envelope and it comes to $2.13 first class. The next weight is $2.36, suitable if you use a heavier envelope. Needless to say, this is the postage for the SASE, not the envelope that you use to send the SASE to Balboa Street.

Thanks John. It looks like $2.50 would be a very safe number for all envelope types. – G

Gary, Our mail room said it will be US$2.90 to send a tape. I've got an envelope in the mail to you. Thanks, Scott D.
