I'm not sure. The Autodesk guys are the ones to ask on this one. From what I
understand as of tonight, is that the Colleges are doing this for a short time
only. It looks like you got a great price from your dealer!
I called a college today, and they sell r3 for $750. From what the lady at the
computer store told me, it is a totally legal copy like any you'd buy from a
dealer.
