HELP. I recently was loading a project into 3DS to show a friend and, talking
as I was loading, inadvertently hit save instead of load and used the project
filename as the file to be saved, DUH!!! Of course this saved an empty project
over the existing. I have a backup tape but several hours of work fell into
the crack. Any quick way to retrieve the original?

The automatic backup system should've been on (the system default), and in that
case, it would've written a files called PRJ.BAK to your hard disk that can be
renamed to whatever.prj and it'll contain the overwritten file.
