Is there a way to loop smoke.pxp? I am currently using it in a column of self illuminating blue smoke, that looks light rays of light. I have to stop on a scene of 20 frames and loop it for however long it takes. With smoke.pxp (which seems to be the best effect for what I want) I can't see a way to loop its effects? I love having lots of lovely little problems at the end of a project… Ron Millar

I don't know if smoke.pxp can be looped but here's an easy work-around that may help..(?) Try rendering out 25 frames of your animation to files on disk. In Video Post, progressively blend the first five images into the last five images. ie: at frame 20, you'll have 80% of frame 20 and 20% of frame 00, at 21, you've got 60% of 21 and 40% of 01, etc. For your twenty frame animation, use frames 05 through 24. This should hide the cut you've been seeing. m.

Thats a cool Idea. I went though with rendering 20 frames forward then reversing it and attaching it together as one looping file of 40 frames. With the smoke you can't really tell its going back and forth. Thanks for your help Ron Millar
