Dear GVP, I'm planning to connect a CD-ROM to my GVP Series II SCSI Hostadapter (A500). The problem is, that I dont know which Terminatoresistor is to remove. The CD-ROM is external (Toshiba XM3401 B). Do I have to remove the termination of the internal HD (Maxtor Cheyenne Series 7120S 120MB) or is there a Jumper on the Hostadapter which I have to remove? Sorry for this silly Question, but my Dealer did only deliver an english manual. I think the Controller was "grey imported", so there was no German registration card or manual 🙁 BTW, does the gvpscsi.device understand SCSI-Direct commands? My ROM-version is V4.5. cu Jochen Antesberger (73064,3302) PS: Sorry for da bad english, I think its funny to read such letters 😉

SCSI termination is not an exact science. Experimentation will be the final solution. My recommendation is to start by terminating the last drive on the chain. If that doesn't work, then try different configurations until you find the one that allows the system to boot and work reliably.
