I have a G-Force040 for A2000 (internalbus) G-Force—-HD—–Tape (no one is terminated) | (external) |————-SyQuest (with termination) If all this units are turned on everything works perfect. If the SyQuest is off my system can't boot. If the SyQuest is dieconnected everything works well again. Why? I had to turn the disconnect feature of the tape off. (GVPscsictrl 004 dcoff). Otherwise I get some SCSI errors. With the A2091 I had no problem. I have a Tanberg 250MB tape.

All SCSI units must be ON when connected to the bus. SYQUEST drives ADD power to the termining stream, which explains why the bus is not working when the unit is off.
