I would like to be able to lock the keyboard when running a .FLC presentation with the AAWIN program. I know you can do it from the DOS runtime player. I don't see a way to do this from Windows, but is there?

<<. I don't see a way to do this from Windows, but is there?>> No, sorry. that feature was not put into the Windows player. There are, however, some Authoring packages that do FLC playback and have the keyboard lock. -b

My other question about the Windows player is this: I have a script that plays approximately 15 animations. The loop is set to "forever". I have tested this on my 486 and it has not gotten hung up. But when I gave the exact same script and files to a friend to test out for me, he said that he left it on all day untouched and that it stopped playing at some point during the day. He disabled TSR's and screensaver before playing. What could have caused this? It's alarming to me because I'm sending this out to a client and it's supposed to play "forever". What is forever, literally? My friend says that no one touched the pc during the day and that there were no Windows events that could have caused it to stop. Also, the power did not go out that day. Thanks.

Yes, forever means forever, and if it works on yours, it should work on his. Either 1) there is something he missed on his system, and it is not "stripped" to the point that yours is, or 2) it was a fluke. Did he try it more than once? Does it happen every time? Are there any patterns, like how long it takes to fail, time of day, network shuts down, anything like that? -Brian
