Denver, Colorado – Schreiber Instruments, Inc. is pleased to announce a new 24
hour password service for its customers. Starting September 1, 1994 customers
of Schreiber 3DStudio plug-in software will be able to receive authorization
codes toll free 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. To use this service customers
can call 1-800- 252-1024, Schreibers existing 800 telephone lines.
Schreiber Instruments, Inc. is also pleased to announce a new policy for its
new 3DStudio plug-in products. "Starting in September all new Schreiber
3DStudio plug-in product offerings will be released as unprotected software."
says Scot Susmann, Vice President of Schreiber Instruments, Inc., he further
stated that, "The need for protection in our existing 3DStudio Plug-In products
will be reevaluated during the next few months also." These changes will
provide our 3DStudio customers better products with fewer limitations in todays
ever demanding network rendering environment.

Since you've taken a lot of heat on this subject its only fair to let you know
that your announcement is terrific news. Schreiber's been listening to the
customers, this is good to know. Thanks for your efforts.

Glad to hear you guys are progressive. I look forward to reviewing your
catalog of products with renewed value. I had decided not to purchase any more
of your products because of your silly paranoic protection schemes. I hope I
can upgrade the current Schreiber IPAS modules I now have to this new freedom.
