Jeez, one person gets a new video card, and the trickle down theory causes 4 video cards to get switched. Anyhow, I glommed onto a Diamond Speedstar 64, 1MB, ISA version, which uses a Cirrus CL-GD5434 controller. I can't find anything other than VESA in the vibrant driver list which will run it. And those don't seem to work at or above 800×600 on this card. I'm pretty sure I'm running ver. 103.c2. Do your ver. 104 drivers support this card, or do you think you will be supporting it in the (very) near future? I've got this weekend to decide whether to keep the card or let it pass on down the ladder. Thanx, LAM

We have not yet recieved a Diamond Speedstar 64 in house from Diamond, so we haven't done any testing with it. However, we have Cirrus 543X support in 1.0.4 inline, which should work for at least some of the modes. Chuck Walbourn – Vibrant Graphics
