Is there a speed thatt you can always set ANI PRO to tto get 30 frames per sec?
We are doing test renders for vidoe and want to be able to check it out at the
right speed.
Thanks,

Mark,
There are very few computers that can actually play an FLC file at a "true" 30
frames per second. You might want to explore converting the Flc files into AVI
files. AVI files when they play back always play at 30 frames per second, and
if the computer can't keep up with that pace then it will just drop frames
every so often so it maintains the speed.

The Product "Smacker" allows you to compress files at a true FPS so you can
view them. Then you just compare that playback speed
with various ani speeds.

You mention "smacker" to permit playback at true 30 fps. Any more info on it?
Who sells it, how much, where do I get it?
Thanks for any info you might have.

Hello, I'm Jeff Roberts from RAD Software, the people that make Smacker.
Smacker is a compressor for 8-bit animations. You can download samples from
the libs in this forum (search for Smack). If you have any question, or need
to order, our phone number is 801-322-4300.
Thanks,

I guess that says it all! <G>

You might also take your 30 fps flics and scale them to 15 fps. This will give
you a good idea of what to expect. Brent Bonet – POP! Multimedia Atlanta
Thanks All for the input !!!
