>>How many work on a typical project for you? Will Daedalus be in Visual Basic
again? Were getting MediaShop for use in some games dev. ourself, have you
looked at it?<<
Oh , let's see…
Give or take 6 modelers/animators, 2 mappers, 2 video
capturers/editors/compositors, 4 programmers, 1 producer/gofer, 2 intern
animators/modelers/mappers.
We're using VB, some BASIC and C, and the Mac programmer is using Director.
What is MediaShop? A programming tool? A scripter? I'm an animator, so I know
3DStudio and Photoshop stuff, but my programming knowledge is very limited.
I've seen your name around here… I'm not sure if we've met… What's the name
of the company you're developing stuff with? What titles do you have out there?

It's kindof like plug-in's for VB, or other .VBX compatable kits. It has all
kinds of tools to make graphical stuff easier to program. It has path based
cell animation tools, interactive .avi controls, some sound stuff, etc. You
can get more detailed detail/stuff from Brett Tofel <Motion Works> @
72420,3001. Some cool tools. I just sent out for it, since its price will go
up from its $300 promo price tomorrow.

Hello, I'm.. <g> I have two "jobs". One is working for a video production
house (doing their graphics, animation, etc.) and I am also working with a
friend on games dev. We're basically the typical "garage startup types".
(Neither have garages though.<g>) We're not sure if it's permanent, but our
business name is DaVinci Digital for the time being. It may change as things
get more focused- reflecting our work and audience. I kinda like it though-
since I'm an admirer of DaVinci's multiple facets. My friend's the programmer,
and I'm the artist and businessman <cough>. To ramble on even more, I
graduated last may with a BA in Broadcast Communications- with focus on video
production and graphics. (after converting from EE/CS because I stink at math.)
