#ASOFT Party
9 messages in this thread
Hi Alan,
I have a question for you:
Will we have a microphone available at the ASOFT party to use while the
tpaes are shown?
I have a tape I could show but it requires narration. Also, as I think back to
the party two years ago, I think that during the tape showings it would be much
more interesting if a mic was available for use by the person whose animation
is showing to explain things.
I'm looking forward to seeing you again. Hope your wife is coming too.

Don't you have an old bullhorn you could bring? Besides, why should a video
need _explaining_? Is this some kind of _art film_ you're bringing, or what? I
thought you just did shoot-em-up cop thrillers, and stuff like that.

Well, yeah I guess it is. MY kind of art. I know I'll have to explain it to
all you ex-hippies.

Not anymore. She broke up with me last year.

Far out.

ROFL! Thanks for the laugh!
Gosh, Alec, but I wasn't really planning on bringing any sound reinforcement
equipment to the party<g>. As we are not renting any particular area but just
gathering at a otherwise public establishment, we've gotta consider the other
non-3DS patrons.
On the other hand, I'll certainly ask the manager if there is some way to
effect some sort of arrangement where you/we could be heard while showing the
tape. As it stands, he (the manager) has promised a large-screen TV (fingers
crossed here) in an area that is somewhat set aside. If this is the case, it
may be easier for us to communicate during the showing. Maybe I can get them to
lend us a small PA…
At any rate, I'll do my best and I look forward to seeing you again and seeing
your stuff!

For all of us with mental relapses, just where in the heck is this ASOFT party
Sunday, and at what time?
Thanx, LAM
