Mark, What do you want one for?

I would like one so that I can run programs that require a 68881 on my A1000. Also, programs that can take advantage of one will run somewhat faster.

Mark, I disagree that programs that could take advantage of one will run faster. On the Amiga there are math libraries which WILL take advantage of an '881 should it exist. Most Amiga programs are written like that.

OK. Thanks, I got some more info. on it and it's the usual Amiga superiority blessing (although sometimes a problem if you're still on an A1000). I like (love) the Amiga product line, I just wish that Commodore had kept the A1000 somewhat upgradeable. Oh well, I guess someday soon I'll have to break down and shell out the dough for an A1200 or similar. Thanks again.

According to this months AW, there is an expansion box now available for the A1000/500 which adds A2k and/or PC slots, with a 200 or 230w power supply. It also claims to be able to interface a toaster card as well…. It's in the new product area in the front of the mag… Good luck!
