At some point in the last few months, I read a reference in a magazine to an
IPAS routine for rendering an MPEG stream directly from 3DS. Anyone know what
it's called?
Daniel,
It's actually a hardware/software combo called MARS. It's about $1500 and
uses an RCPADI driver (I think) to save out to an .MPG file. Only catch is
that each machine requires a complete MARS system, hardware and software.
Alternately, you can render to .TGA's and use the DOS utilities that it comes
with to convert to an .MPG and use the MARS to playback to your VCR (if that's
your intention).
