Got a wish for MAX. Can you include some kind of identifier flag within a
primitive's appdata chunk? (Or whatever the equivalent to the appdata chunk is
in MAX.)
I'd like to know what the user created. You know, sphere, cone, box, torus,
etc. I realize that this info may become invalid or inappropriate really
quickly if the user starts deforming the primitive, but it would give the
Plug-In developer a place to start if he/she wants to base portions of their
functionality on what the user originally defined as an object.
I probably won't get your response for a while. I'm on a plane to the
carribean tonight. Time for a little R&R. Can't wait to strap the tanks on
and hit the reefs!
