Does anyone know if the Amiga CD-32 has been released in the US? Also, is there any information out as to when the CD32 copatable drives will be ready for the A1200? One last question, Elite Micro Computers makes an expansion board for the A1200 that allows two A1200 cards to be installed at once, will this enable the A1200 to use both an accelerater card and the CD32 card? Thank you, any info that anyone has will be greatly appreciated. Peter D'angelo

Peter, It is due to be released in the US in March. We have been able to order some units from Canada–but the shipping charges drive the cost of the beast well over $399. The Canadian units I don't believe are FCC approved (not sure about this as we haven't gotten ours yet) but they are NTSC. I am curious as to how the titles currently available will run on NTSC CD32 units. -mark= Otto Pilot Engaged..

I ordered a CD32 from AmigaMan located in PA, who advertises in AmigaWorld magazine, tonight. They said that the units are in stock and I will have it in 2 to 3 days. We'll see. Jim R. Ollick Using AP from Bergenfield, NJ

Mark, The CD32 I received from a dealer in Florida (who I believe received them from Canada) does have an FCC sticker. -sja
