#Wanna make games?

Asha,
First of all, thanks for answering. I thought no one would be
interested. I'm going to try to answer your questions.
You asked why A1200 only. The fact is that I need the AGA.
Let's face it: the machines like A500 or A200 (or even A300) are
graphically obsolete, at least concerning the games. I mean, look at the PC's
(beurk). All the games use at least 256 colors. The visual impact is immense
and it helps with adventure games (which need a lot of colors for the
backgrouds) or any game which wants to impress. I know a lot of people will say
that it is possible to make good games with 32 colors, and I agree with that.
Commodore went down. Why? Partly I think it's because of the fact that
A500 games can't face PC (it's hard to say, but it's true). How many real A1200
games have been coded since the computer appeared (and I mean games who are not
conversions from PC or A500 enhancements)? The A1200/A4000 have the power to
beat PC games. But nobody is trying do do something for that.
Anyway, for my project I need at least 256 colors for the game. We
could try to adapt the game on A500 later.

By the way, if you want to contact me, do it after the month of
Augustus( I'll be on holiday 'till the end of that month).

I can get 256 colors with either my Picasso II board, or my Opal (full 24
bit). If you're interested, contact me when you get back from vacaction.
