Christian, I need the AGA for the 256 colors. Ask yourself: how many games really use the AGA chipset ? How many A1200 games aren't just PC conversions or A500 enhancements? It's time to change that!!! Yeah!!! Anyway, we could do an A500 conversion later. But as you should know, by using EHB you loose speed and memory… I think the ideal computer for my project is an A1200 with at least 2meg chip and of course a HardDrive. Almost every A1200 owner has an A1200 2meg with HD (I think). So what's your programming level? I have a book about how to have acces to AGA, so it shouldn't be a problem for that. Anyway, I'll contact you in one month (I'm on holyday during the month of August). Thanks for answering the message. By this time, I'll be able to tell you more about how we will get organized to build the whole think… See ya: Diego (Carlo's my father.I'm using his CompuServe…)

Diego, > I need the AGA for the 256 colors. Ask yourself: how many games really use the AGA chipset ? I agree, I agree. 256 colors would be nice. I am just complaining because I do not have AGA. That is why I am hoping for a two graphics version game. > Anyway, we could do an A500 conversion later. I am against that. That would mean to keep in mind 1 Meg RAM and no harddrive and 68000 etc. in mind. That should not be the goal. The beginning should be not to mind hardware restrictions and then go from there . . . > I think the ideal computer for my project is an A1200 with at least 2meg chip and of course a HardDrive. But why not requiring at least 1 Meg Fast RAM? That would speed things up. > So what's your programming level? Oh, oh, pretty poor. I have done some AMOS but then I started to study (which I stopped by now) and did only very little 80×86 assembler. I will learn C in fall. (That is why I am lurking around in this forum.) I have got a lot of ideas and since I have got a very good business education I may be able to handle some organisation and administration stuff. Bye, Christian Christian
